The Temperley London Resort collection for this season is melting my heart. The simplicity of the designs elevates them and allows the delicate lace and ruffle details to shine. This collection is created with feminine energy in mind, and it oozes sensuality and glamour in one neatly tied package.

The lace detail on several of the dresses shows a well executed vintage inspiration, while still maintaining the modern dignity of the design. The peter pan style collars and scalloped hem lines add a playful spirit to the well-tailored pieces, and the intentional bagginess of the kaftan and maxi dress compliment the cinched waistlines and belted looks seen throughout the rest of the collection.

And who would I be if I didn’t comment on the fabulous black strappy pumps. With a little bit of a platform, these shoes are the ultimate multi-purpose heel, fitting beautifully with a cropped trouser, ruffled mini or flowing floor-lenth gown. Looking at this collection, I can’t help but think it is a better updated version of vintage collections, with the feeling of old mixed with a new flair.
