Stella McCartney Resort 2012

Stella McCartney has done it again, giving us a spectacular combination of textures, prints, colors and themes in her Resort 2012 collection. The playful ensembles offer optimal versatility with pieces that can be integrated into anyone’s closet. While some of the combinations are a little different, the collection is phenomenally wearable when worked into your own personal style. This collection saw everything from seersucker and houndstooth, to the transformation of the Hawaiian into something wearable in situations other than luau’s. Yes, some items may seem a little eccentric (would you wear a head to toe outfit covered in bows?), but when taken as separates, the pieces scream buy me, layer me and love me.

“There’s a lot of versatility; that’s what’s nice about a [Resort] collection. You don’t have to be so controlled. You can give a lot of different people a lot of different things and not be afraid to do that.”–Stella McCartney
