I know what we’re all thinking, they may not be the most fashion forward shoe in the world, but trust me if you don’t own a pair of TOMS you MUST either go online or run to Hype right now and pick up a pair. These are the must have shoe for the heavy city walker, the errand runner and the sick of wearing sneakers but flats just don’t look right with this outfit woman living in all of us. TOMS Shoes offer women (men and children too!) a variation of the comfortable shoe with the extra bonus of knowing you helped a child in need of shoes. For those of you new to TOMS, these are the shoes with the ‘One for One’ promise, or in other words, whenever you purchase a pair for yourself you also automatically give a pair to a child who is sadly living without shoes.
These canvas beauties boast a supportive arch and a material that dries fast for those times you get caught in a freak rainstorm. They come in a variety of colors and textures from satin to lace, so that you can find a pair that perfectly suits you. Now we would be crazy to think these would ever replace your pumps and wedges, but once you buy them they will own the place as your go-to casual shoe. Stars like Miley Cyrus, Mary-Kate Olsen,Liv Tyler, Clare Danes, Agyness Deyn, Oliva Wilde and Zoe Sladana have been seen working TOMS into their outfits, pairing them with everything from a chunky knit and leather pants, to a pair of jean shorts and an oversized t shirt. For this winter, I suggest checking out a pair in maroon, black or cream (those are my favorites to coordinate with the colors this season).
