Let’s face it, how many times have we purchased what we swore was theperfect bag, to then realize it fits half a stick of gum and a credit card then it’s full to capacity. Well, this new collection of leather goods from budding US brand Sedgwick is the perfect combination of style and practicality. The SS 2011 lookbook is actually a breath of fresh Southwestern air, with perfect shoulder bags, clutches and totes.
With obvious inspiration from their hometown of Sedgwick, Kansas, designers Ashley Baker and Carley Beck have created bags congruent with the minimalist/basic trend that we are bound to see a lot more of in upcoming Fall/Winter 2012 collections. But this take on the trend doesn’t showcase My personal favorite is the lace print (if you can call it a print) leather cross the shoulder bag. These leather treasures are perfect for the girl on the go, in neutral (but by no means boring) colors, and durable simply due to the fact that they are made of leather, and come on, who isn’t a sucker for a great leather bag? They last forever.
