Now while the ever popular fashion goddess chose to accessorize her dress with a red layered necklace and trifecta of gold lace up pumps, clutch and bracelet, you don’t have to stay within her boundaries.
You can use the draped yellow ankle-length dress as a jumping off point for your own accessorizing. Look at the dress as a blank slate, and try your own color pairing. Now I do love her combination of orangey-red with this shade of yellow, it compliments the dress while giving that little pop that all good accessories should do. If you can’t find a red necklace, try the color out on your nails like she did, or add a little fiery lipstick to brighten up your makeup. You could also vary the midi dress by replacing her black skinny belt with one in a bright color, like blue. This would add a little visual interest without taking over the entire look, and let’s face it a belt is essential for a dress like this.
