Carolina Herrera “Mystery” Video


Carolina Herrera’s new ‘advertainment’ video Mystery combines the allure of a print editorial with the glamour of a runway show for the perfect combination to show off the newest looks. The sultry masculine voice contrasting the sleek shots of ultra feminine dresses prove Juan Delcan as a directorial success. This new foray of the fashion world into using the Internet as a means of furthering their editorial abilities is the next big trend, and Herrera is starting out of the gate with a knockout.

Herrera’s video brings the editorial ads from the pages of magazines to life in a way unseen before. Fellow designer Ralph Lauren also employed the web in a new way by featuring interactive runways for the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 collections. The budding collaboration of fashion and web can only grow and we are absolutely loving the visual experiences that fashion can provide.
