Colour Inspiration Diane Kruger

This season’s neon trend is catching quick with bright colours walking down the runways. The interesting thing is seeing how this trend is taking place in wearable fashion, the obvious t shirts and singlets are basking in the trend, where the formal looks are late to catch on. But, Diane Kruger hit a home run for team neon with her Alessandra Rich dress at the Liaisons au Louvre charity dinner and is serving as a color inspiration for everyday looks.

While lime green lace evening gowns may not be simple to find, pieces in the coral and green families are popping up in designers’ Spring Summer 2001 collections and in retail stores. Not feeling like you’re ready for neon? No worries, just tone down the brightness and you have an ever trendy pastel member of the same color family. Or take this color inspiration in a different direction and try out an orangey lip stick or minty green nail polish to add the finishing touches to any look.
Stores like Urban Outfitters have tons of way for you to make this color inspiration your own. Whether you make it into shorts, shoes or simply a bright clutch, this look is a playful success.
